Agreement with program provider, Athena Study Abroad, expands Lycoming College options

Students at Lycoming College now have another study abroad option because of a recent partnership agreement with Athena Study Abroad.

Athena Study Abroad offers programs in 19 locations in Asia, Europe, and South America. The agreement allows Lycoming students to apply for Athena scholarships and to use their non-Lycoming financial aid to cover the cost of semester-long programs.

“In today’s marketplace, competition for jobs is increasingly intense. Students with valuable international experience have an edge in the global economy,” said Philip Witherup, Lycoming’s coordinator of study abroad and travel courses. “We are very excited by this new partnership that greatly expands affordable study abroad options for our students. Participating students will be even more prepared for their future careers post-graduation.”

Lycoming College is committed to providing enhanced academic experiences to its students. Offering a broad portfolio of high quality, affordable study abroad programs ensures every Lycoming student can take advantage of these opportunities.
