Renowned sitarist Roop Verma with his quartet to play at Lycoming College

Lycoming College will host Roop Verma, sitarist, for a performance on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mary Lindsay Welch Honors Hall located on the corner of Fourth and Basin Streets. Admission is free and open to the public.

Verma is an internationally-respected sitarist, composer and accomplished teacher of Indian classical and sacred music. His training comes from two prominent maestros of our time, Ravi Shankar and Ali Akbar Khan.
