Lycoming College to host Iron Toys for concert Oct. 29

Lycoming College will host Iron Toys, a saxophone and woodwind quartet, for a concert on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Mary Lindsay Welch Honors Hall located on the corner of Fourth and Basin Streets. Admission is free and open to the public.

The ensemble’s skills with more than 20 instruments enable them to perform a diverse repertoire that blends classical, jazz and avant-garde styles.

Tom Reed, Rich Shanklin, George Shernit and Howie Smith founded Iron Toys in 2004.
