Lycoming College’s Academic Resource Center (ARC) announces the release of the 2013 issue of “Schemata,” an online journal of essays and photography by Lycoming students.

The new issue includes more than 30 student essays from 18 departments, making it the largest yet. For the first time ever, the “Schemata” site,, has been expanded to dedicate separate pages for each contributor. Nine of the essays have been graphically enhanced by designer Amanda Edens ’13 and the featured artist for the issue is junior Bridget Bellmore, who has paired original photographs with each writing.

“Schemata,” first released in 2010, was created by Shanna Wheeler, ARC’s assistant director, in an effort to give students the opportunity to publish their work and gain experience in editing, design, publishing, marketing and public relations.
