Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Organizational Behavior

The Business Department at Lycoming College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behavior, effective fall 2020. We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipling with teaching capabilities in organizational behavior and, depending on interest, human resource management, international management, business research methods, or other management-related topics. Over time, this position will help to improve and reshape the business curriculum, as well as teach other courses that suit his or her interests.
Lycoming College is deeply rooted in the liberal arts tradition and seeks candidates who see the business curriculum as part of this larger goal, integrating business education in an interdisciplinary way with other fields of study. We are dedicated to excellence in the classroom and expect the ideal candidate to include both research and service to the college community to the work that they do.
Required Experience and Qualifications: A qualified candidate must have a PhD In Organizational Behavior or a closely related discipline combined with business experience or a Master’s degree in business. Candidates that are ABD may apply with the clear understanding that degree must be in hand within one year. Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of their dedication to teaching excellence, and experience with college teaching is strongly preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, advising and service to the campus community to receive tenure. Candidates must demonstrate an interest in teaching in a liberal arts environment.
