Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Position Summary:

The Department of Athletics at Lycoming College is seeking applications for a full-time Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.  This position is responsible for all aspects of the women’s lacrosse program including, but not limited to, recruitment of student-athletes, practice organization, contest preparation, student athlete development, budget management, fundraising, academic monitoring and other duties as assigned by the director of athletics. This is a 12-month, benefits-eligible position.

Lycoming College's women’s lacrosse program has been a consistent contender in the Middle Atlantic Conference, advancing to the MAC playoffs in five of the past 12 years. Lycoming offers 17 varsity programs in which over 25 percent of the student body participates.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.  Minimum of three years coaching experience required with proven ability to recruit, retain and develop successful student-athletes.  Successful candidate must be well organized; have excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with prospective student-athletes, student-athletes, staff and College personnel.  Candidates must be attentive to details, have the ability to lead, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  Candidates must display a commitment for adhering to all Lycoming College, NCAA and MAC policies, rules and regulations.  Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
