Assistant Swimming Coach (Part-time)

Position Summary:

The Department of Athletics at Lycoming College is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Assistant Swimming Coach.  Will train suitable candidate for college level program.  Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting head coach with recruiting and with on-deck duties.  This part-time, non-benefits eligible position is allotted a maximum of 450 hours per fiscal year.


Required Experience & Qualifications:

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior recruiting, teaching, swimming and/or coaching experience a plus.  Successful candidate must be well-organized; have excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and parents.  Candidates must be attentive to details, have the ability to lead, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  Candidate must display a commitment for adhering to all Lycoming College, NCAA and MAC policies, rules and regulations.  Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
