Museum and Stadiums

Williamsport is the birthplace and capital of the world

for Little League baseball. We will learn of the history

of this sport, Williamsport’s place in the world, and the

impact of Little League Baseball on our local economy.

Some people love poetry; others do not like it. Dr. Darby

Lewes, Professor of English, will share her infectious

passion for poetry and the liberal arts with us. Watch

for a special appearance by Lyco Dog!

7:00 PM Lights, Camera, Action! (The Dragon’s Lair)


One popular major for creative expression at a liberal

arts college is theater. Dr. Biliana Stoytcheva-Horissian

(“Dr. B”), Theater Professor, joins us to present this

hands-on acting workshop.

8:30 PM An Evening Under the Stars


If rain or clouds prevented last night’s outing, the

futuristic transport vessels will take us to Rider Park.

Rev. Jeff LeCrone, Director of Spiritual Life and Community

Service, leads a panel discussion of current students

and alumni about the impact of doing community service

at college and beyond. Serving others is an important

ingredient for lives of meaning and purpose.
