Shanin Dougherty is a career advisor for the arts, humanities, and international programming, which includes archaeology, art, art history, corporate communication, English, film and video arts, history, medieval studies, music, modern language studies, philosophy, political science, religion, theatre, and the certificate in education. Dougherty holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history and a certificate in women’s studies from Dickinson College and a Master of Science in communications and public relations from Lasell University. She has fifteen years of experience in higher education administration, specifically global education, and has worked in arts organizations in Philadelphia. A native to the Williamsport area, she also serves on the board of directors of Lycoming Arts.
Dougherty enjoys connecting with students to help them explore their career possibilities and passions by focusing on their unique interests and skillsets. She is available to help students with career counseling, selecting a major, searching for internships and jobs, writing resumes and cover letters, and applying to graduate schools.
