Led by the Academic Services Deans, the Academic Coaches are members of the faculty and staff who work one-on-one with students in support of their academic and overall success. Academic Coaches help students to:
- set goals
- track academic performance
- manage time
- take advantage of academic resources
- integrate into the life of the community
- discover what motivates them
In addition, Academic Coaches connect students with faculty and staff — including chairs of academic departments, career advisors, counseling services, and various student life professionals. The goals are clear: to help students succeed, and in the case of students on academic probation, return to good academic standing so that they can achieve to their potential, graduate, and live lives of meaning and purpose.
