62 Paul Rothfuss II has published “WIGGLES, WINKS & WIZARDS: Paul & Kerby’s Great Adventure,” the sequel to his first book, “Alias Emperor Rodgers” (2018). By 1975, commercial radio had evolved from a mass- entertainment monopoly into a music and personality platform. It was the perfect time for the right people with the right stuff to catch lightning in a bottle. This new book presents how Paul and Kerby Confer used the power of ideas and their natural creativity to grab that lightning — on nothing more than a promise, a handshake, and a ton of laughs — and acquire a chain of underdeveloped radio stations and turn them into market leaders, both in ratings and revenue. The books are available on Amazon.com, or contact paul.rothfuss@gmail.com . 67 Walt Kinsey and pianist Sue Martin are shown playing for an art opening at Chester County Art Association in West Chester, Pa., on March 12, 2020. 68 Dick Hedden shares that he and his wife, Mary (Swanson) , met on the Quad during their freshman year in 1964 and married in 1972 when he returned home from military service.
