From the Presiden The first quarter of the 21st century has emerged as a period of rapid change and disruption affecting virtually every facet of life. The magnitude of this change has been compared to the Industrial Revolution, and it has been variously labeled as the digital or technological revolution, the second machine age, or the era of big data.
