President Kent and
Sharon Trachte
invited Michael
Bell ’94, a renowned
American painter and
muralist, to display
several of
his cinematic
60” x 60” mixed-
media oil paintings
on canvas in the
President’s House.
The exhibit was
installed just prior
to homecoming
weekend and was
open to alumni
and the campus
community. It also
served as the perfect
learning opportunity
as several professors
brought their art
students to the house
to study the painting
series.
