Vallamont Postcards

A part of Loyalsock Township until the early 1920's, the Vallamont development was originally bounded by the city limit on its South (Rural Ave.), by Market St. on its East, by Fifth Ave. on its West, and the North boundary roughly by slightly North of what is now known as Vallamont Dr. We include a few cards from Brandon Park and the Williamsport Hospital, which although not in Vallamont, were right across from one of its streets. The Postcards on this page, if used, were postmarked between 1902 and 1920. Note the early advertisement below the links and its modest claim, "It is as safe as government bonds." Please use our many email links on these pages to correct or update to our information, or to make any comments.
