Lego Simple Machines

Lego Simple Machines was the “class of creation.” The teacher, Meredith Bigger, came up with some creative ideas for this class from teaching at Shick Elementary School. She also got ideas out of some books.

Some of her ideas included making merry-go-rounds, motorized cars, cranes and windshield wipers. “The Kids I work with are very creative and I enjoy working with them” says Mrs. Bigger. On Friday they look forward to building the Motorized cars, eating Lego Eggos, and watching the rockets fly up.

Justin Wood and his partner Ian Dinsmore said that the reason they chose this class was because they like to motorize working machines and they learn a lot.

“I liked to build the crane,” explained Justin Wood.

Ian Dinsmore said, “I had fun building the crane, and also I loved building the drumming machine.”

They are very excited to watch the rockets fly on Friday because they go really high. They also were really excited about building the motorized cars.
