"I'm a big fan of Harry Potter, so I thought
this class Wizards' Workshop
would be fun to take!" said Hannah Weber
of Hufflepuff House.
Ms. Rae Temple, who has taught this
wonderful wizardry class for three years now,
has no shortage of magic!
She has some very enjoyable games to play like Wizards'
Checkers which is a game similar to "Wizards' Chess" the game
from the Harry Potter books and Muggles' Quidditch. These young
wizards have completed many magical projects from making their
own Hogwarts' maps to predicting the future with tea leaves.
Aaron Cipriani of Slytherin House said, “I thought making our
own wands was really fun.”
Ms. Temple said she started the class
because so many kids are interested in Harry
Potter, and she is, too!
“I’ve never read any of the Harry Potter
books, but I’ve seen some of the movies!” explained Sydney Keller
of Gryffindor House. The third and fourth grade students were each put into a house based
on the sorting hat. Four people were in each, and they competed for
house points throughout the week. The winning house got a surprise prize on
