Individual Interdisciplinary Majors
Students may design majors which are unique to their needs and objectives and which combine course work in more that one department. These majors are developed in consultation with students' faculty advisors and with a panel of faculty members from each of the sponsoring departments. The applications are acted upon by the Curriculum Development Committee. The major normally consists of 10 courses beyond those taken to satisfy the distribution requirements. Students are expected to complete at least six courses at the junior or senior level.
