Lycoming Prof named to Graham Teaching Chair

Dr. Richard J. Morris, professor of history at Lycoming College, has been named to the John P. Graham Teaching Chair. This is a five-year appointment awarded to a full professor who exemplifies good teaching. The appointment, which carries a stipend, is named after John P. Graham of Williamsport, professor emeritus of English. The Graham Teaching Chair was endowed by the Daniel J. Fultz Family.

Morris joined the faculty in 1976. He is a graduate of Boston State College. He received his master's degree from Ohio University and a doctorate from New York University. ###
