Over a thousand people-- parents, siblings and
other relatives-- are expected on the Lycoming College campus for
the college's annual Family Weekend, Sept. 20-22.
The weekend begins with a special concert to
be place in Clarke Chapel at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening. The concert
will feature the Lycoming College Band and the Lycoming College
Chamber Choir. Faculty Open House in Pennington Lounge will take
place from 10 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
Auction Proceeds to Scholarship Fund
The 12th Annual Brandy Lee Sudol
Auction will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the East Hall Coffee House in
memory of the Gamma Delta Sigma sister who passed away in 1990 from
Hodgkin’s disease.
The proceeds from the auction have go to
benefit the Brandy Lee Sudol Memorial Scholarship.
A reception for the Lycoming College Choir and
their parents will be held in Clarke Chapel at 10:30 a.m., followed
by an hour-long open choir rehearsal in Clarke Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
The Career Development Center will host on
open house at 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. in the Career Development
Center on the third floor of the Wertz Student Center. Light
refreshments will be served.
The Lycoming College Warrior Football Team
will play Susquehanna at 1:00 p.m. at the David Person Field.
Dinner-- along the theme of "Football
Follies," will be held in Pennington Lounge from 6:00 p.m.
through 8:00 p.m. followed by the Ventriloquist, Dan Horn, at 9 p.m.
in Clarke Chapel.
The movie , Scooby Doo, will be shown
in the Heim Biology and Chemistry Building in room G-11, at 8 p.m
both Friday and Saturday nights.
The weekend ends on Sunday with Catholic Mass
at St. Boniface Church on Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. and a Protestant
Ecumenical Service at 11:00 a.m. in Clarke Chapel on campus
A send-off brunch starts at 12 noon in
Pennington Lounge.
Reservations are required for Saturday dinner
and Sunday brunch. Registration will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 in
the Snowden Library foyer, from 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. and on
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
