Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity will host a haunted house in
Williamsport from October 26-30 in order to raise money for the
Ronald Reagan Alzheimer’s Foundation. This is the second year for
this fundraiser.
The haunted house will be at 349 Pine
Street across from the courthouse in Williamsport. It is being held
in an old department store donated to TKE for the program. The
haunted house is larger this year than it was in the past, filling
the basement and three floors. It will run from 7-11 p.m. on
Saturday, October 26, and from 7-10 p.m. from Sunday through
Tuesday. The haunted house will cost $5 for adults, $3 for children,
and $4 for college students.
"This is a great way for TKE and
Lycoming College to give back to the community of
Williamsport," said Gene Melvin, vice-president of TKE
fraternity. "Last year we were able to raise nearly $800 for
the Special Olympics. This family-oriented activity is a great way
to celebrate Halloween, have fun, and donate some money to a great
cause."
The sisters of Gamma Delta Sigma will
be selling refreshments at the haunted house.
