Lycoming College Habitat for Humanity Dedicates its First College Build

The Lycoming College Chapter of Habitat for Humanity  held a dedication service for their first college build on Saturday, December 6, 2003.  The dedication was held at the house, 1104 Baldwin Street, Williamsport, at 11:00 AM. 

The college began construction on the house, located at the site of the old Buckeye Pretzel Factory, in the fall of 2001.  Members of the college chapter worked with the house owners and local affiliates as well as Lycoming College faculty, staff, a variety of sports teams, sororities, fraternities, and other organization to build the house.  In addition, many students, faculty, staff, and members of the community have aided the build by donating and participation in fund raisers.
