| The Lycoming
College radio station, WRLC, will be holding its third annual
36-hour food drive marathon for the Salvation Army from Friday,
November 22 through Sunday, November 24. The food drive will begin
at 12 noon on Friday and will end at midnight on Sunday.
Two of the WRLC DJs, Kristin Madonna and
Travis Brenchi will be "locked" in the Mass
Communications building for the entirety of the food drive as a
means of communicating to the public as well as a sign of the
radios station's dedication to the food drive. There will be live
remote-broadcasts by DJs George Purcell, Steve Koehn, Jason
Brandemarti, and Derrick Dougherty. The broadcasts will take place
at Wegmans from 10am until 12 noon on Saturday.
WRLC is looking for canned goods and
nonperishable food items. There will be food-collection bins in
the Mass Communications Building (located on Franklin St), Long
Hall, and Wegman's.
