Families and friends of those lost and injured in
the senseless violence at Virginia Tech continue to gather to mourn
and to pray. We invite you to join with members of our College
community at a candle light prayer vigil this evening to honor the
victims and to pray both for those who have died and for those who
have been wounded.
This service will be held tonight at 7:30 in
the Mary Welch Honors Hall. Prayers will be offered for them, their
loved ones, and for the Virginia Tech family.
As an expression of sympathy, the Student
Senate of Lycoming College is co-ordinating the signing of a Book of
Condolences to be forwarded to the Virginia Tech Student Government
Association. The book will be available this evening at the service
for those wanting to be a part of this outreach.
Staff in Campus Ministry and in Counseling
Services are available throughout this afternoon for those who would
like to meet with them. The Lindsay Chapel in the Honors Hall is
open for personal prayer and reflection as well. |
