The program features motivational speakers and
interactive learning exercises. PFEW participants not only learn
about the American free enterprise system, but they also learn from
a practitioner’s perspective what it takes to be successful in a
competitive global environment.
Students selected to enroll in the program can
attend one of the four weekly sessions. To be eligible, student
candidates must have completed either their sophomore or junior year
by the end of June 2007 and be recommended by a high school
representative.
From its inception in 1979, PFEW has addressed
the compelling and urgent issue of workforce preparedness. Through
its unique hands-on approach, and direct interaction and teamwork
with both business leaders and peers, PFEW has now broadened the
view of American business for more than 22,000 student graduates of
the program.
