Sascha Feinstein not only edits an journal on jazz poetry and literature (Brilliant Corners), the Lycoming College English Professor and co-director of the College’s Creative Writing Program plays a mean jazz sax.

The Feinstein Quartet – including Tim Breon (guitar) a music instructor at Lycoming, Andy Seal (bass) and Steve Mitchell (drums) are appearing at the Bullfrog on Thursday, December 2 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Feinstein’s love of all things jazz led him to found Brilliant Corners: A Journal of Jazz Poetry and Literature in 1996. The journal has received numerous accolades and a number of grants from the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts. It is internationally distributed through Borders and Barnes and Noble bookstores.
