| K. Alan Himes '59, former Trustee, dies | |

K. Alan Himes ’59, Hilton Head, S.C., died
October 22, 2004. A business major and a member of Sigma Pi
fraternity at Lycoming College, he was employed by Woolrich, Inc.,
for 31 years, retiring in 1991 as senior vice-president of
marketing. He served as Trustee of the College from 1987 to 1996 during which time he was co-chair of the Marketing and Recruitment Committee. In 1987, he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award. He was founder and secretary of the Woolrich Volunteer Fire Company, served on the Board of Trustees of the Williamsport Hospital and was a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Diane ’92, (1 Wilderness Point, Hilton Head Island, S.C., 29926), two daughters, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held at the College in Clarke Chapel.
