Note: William F. Quillian is listed in the 1966 Who’s Who in the Methodist Church, page 1063.  He is descended from a line of like-named Methodist pastors.  He is the son of William Fletcher Quillian (1880-1960) of the South Georgia Conference, and the grandson of William Fletcher Quillian (1843-1905) of the North Georgia Conference.  The Quillian family produced over a dozen Methodist ministers, many of them quite prominent, starting with our William F. Quillian’s great-great grandfather James Quillian (1793-1869) of the North Georgia Conference.
