Elder Conser is a nephew of Solomon L.M. Conser (1812-1896) of the Central Pennsylvania Conference
of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He moved
west and was living in Ohio, where he met his wife, by 1864 and in Kansas by
1883 and in California by 1920. He
appears to have been in the banking business, and the degree to which he did
any preaching is not known. He is not
known to appear on any list of Evangelical preachers or licentiates in Ohio or
Kansas.
