Personal
Telephone Access Code
For
personal calls originating from the Campus, faculty and staff should
use their personal telephone access code (T.A.C). T.A.C.'s are available
through the Telecommunications Office, located in the A/C, Sl1, Room
A2. The Telecommunication's office will bill employees monthly for
completed calls. Contact Brigitte
Brahms, ext. 4074 for additional
information.

When
you hear the beeps enter the extension where you wish to transfer
your call.

Redial
-
In
the case of busy tone or no answer, you can redial the number.
For this purpose, cradle the handset, lift it
again and press the redial button.

Programming
speed dial number.

NOTE:
keys are silent while programming - they do not press down
when punched.

Remove
the plastic cover and the directory card.
-
Pick
up the handset from the cradle, then press the STORE button.
-
Dial
the number you wish to store.
-
Press
the STORE button.
-
Press
the Speed Dial button which you wish to store.
-
If
an error is made while programming a number, place the handset
on the cradle and then repeat steps from 3.
-
Replace
the plastic cover and the directory card.
Each
Speed Dial number can store a max. of 32 digits. If the
telephone line is disconnected, speed dial numbers will be saved
up to 10 years while disconnected. Speed dial numbers are
stored and may be dialed with the touch of a single button.
