CTE 2005 - LYCOMING COLLEGE CONFERENCE ON TEACHING EXCELLENCE

PLEASE NOTE: CTE 2005 HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  Proposal Guidelines for CTE 2006 will be updated and posted during summer and fall of 2005. 
We welcome and encourage  your participation in 2006!


PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

Paths to Learning:

Multiple Intelligences in the College Classroom

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Suggested topics for presentations might include:
o Encouraging active, collaborative and intrapersonal learning
o Designing effective student assignments
 (individual and group)
o Developing and employing multimedia
resources and learning tools
o Using a variety of assessment techniques
at the class, course, or department level
o Employing innovative teaching strategies
to increase student learning
o Capitalizing on student strengths and interests
o Recognizing and responding to multiple styles of learning
o Employing teaching strategies that
succeed with diverse learners


Other innovative proposals dealing with
teaching in a college setting will be considered.

Proposals should be sent in the form of an e-mail Word attachment (preferred) or as plain text in the body of an e-mail (Subject line: Conference Proposals) to the conference presentation review team.  For specific guidelines, please follow the "Proposal Guidelines" link at the top of this page:
