Welcome to student life at Lycoming College. I'm imagining if you are on this page you are interested in perhaps one or more of the following: personal growth, challenge by choice, affinity housing, understanding community issues and then doing something about it, or just generally looking for fun activities and events while you are in college.

Your years in college are unparalleled with any other time in your life. Opportunities abound through co-curriculum programs such as Outdoor Leadership and Education, Civic Engagement, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals, and support services for student health and well-being. In addition, Lycoming College's residential programming provides 1st year students with a shared experience and upper-class students the opportunity to move from traditional residential housing to a choice of independent living in College owned apartments.

We take what we do seriously, intentionally, and deliberately and, when done right, there are many memorable moments along the way! Our mantra is student interest; student driven. A primary role is to facilitate bringing student ideas to fruition e.g., stand-alone programs, new clubs or organizations, forums of expression, deepening and strengthen our campus culture of respect and inclusion.

Of special note, at Lycoming College we are united around a single goal - to create a positive and dynamic campus environment that promotes academic achievement and development of character. We want to make sure that every student is challenged and supported to develop the habits of civility, integrity, citizenship and compassion that will allow them to become leaders during college years and beyond.

All of us in Student Life look forward to your contributions to student life at Lycoming College.

Lastly, if you should have critiques, compliments, creative suggestions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at millerda@lycoming.edu.
