Women’s Tennis Closes Season With a Loss               FDU-Florham Proves Too Much for the Lady Warriors

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The Lady Warriors dropped their final match to a surprisingly tough FDU-Florham team on Saturday, 8-1. The loss eliminates Lycoming from the MAC team playoffs.

The Blue and Gold was winless in its singles matches, but the team’s seniors finished their careers with at least one victory on the day. Lauren Paich (Stanhope, NJ) and Amery Lim (East Stroudsburg, PA) won their doubles match (8-6), saving Lycoming from a shutout.

With three-quarters of her team returning next season, head coach Deb Holmes has her eyes on a successful 2007.
