LYCOMING WOMEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO SCRANTON

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s tennis team hosted the University of Scranton, Saturday afternoon. The Warriors fell to the Royals 2-7. Lycoming drops to 0-4 overall and 0-2 within the Freedom Conference. Scranton improves to 2-2 and 2-0.

Josemar Castillo (Jr./Maracaibo, Venezuela; Claret and Muncy) claimed the Warriors’ lone singles victory with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the first position. Erin Horsley (Sr./Allegany, N.Y.; Allegany) and Katie Koury (Sr./Mansfield, Pa.; Mansfield) added a doubles win in the third position by the score of 8-3.

Lycoming is back in action on Wednesday, September 15, when they host King’s College.
