LYCOMING’S TEMPLE NAMED WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College senior Cricket Temple (Picture Rocks, PA; Hughesville) has been named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for women’s tennis.

Last week, Temple was a perfect 2-0 for the Warriors at first singles. Against her opponent from Lebanon Valley, she won 6-2, 6-2. Versus her opponent from DeSales, Temple won 6-4, 6-2. She also won both of her doubles matches, playing with Meredith Moerschbacher (Sr./Montoursville, PA; Montoursville).

For the season, Temple is 4-0 in both singles and doubles play. As a team, Lycoming is also 4-0 on the season. The team’s next match in Friday, September 20, at FDU-Florham.
