Lady Warriors Travel to Misericordia                                     Next Match Will Be Senior Day, October 29

DALLAS, Pa.—The blue and gold (4-10-1) could not overcome The College Misericordia (12-6) in Lycoming’s final away match of 2006. The Lady Warriors played with heart, but fell to the Lady Cougars 2-0.

Both teams battled valiantly in the first half. Goalie Jessica Bennett (Crofton, MD) made a great save to keep the match scoreless at the break. But Misericordia proved too much for the Lady Warriors. Jessica Lasorsa scored in the 61^st minute to put the Lady Cougars up. Then, with less than two minutes remaining, the Lady Cougars dropped in another shot to increase the difference. Lycoming got off four shots in the match.

The Lady Warriors wrap up their season against DeSales this Sunday, October 29 at home. It will be Senior Day and Lycoming will honor their six teammates whose careers come to an end. The conference match starts at 1:00.
