Balduino Named
Lycoming Women’s Soccer Coach
Former Assistant Ready to
Lead Lady Warriors
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Former Warrior soccer player Joe Balduino, class of 2004, has been named head women’s soccer coach for the 2007 season. Balduino is from Washington, New Jersey.
Balduino was an assistant coach for the men’s program during the past three seasons. He has coached soccer camps and clubs since 1999. Balduino was also the Lycoming men's team captain in 2002 and 2003, and was selected as Lycoming soccer Man of the Year in 2003.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” says Balduino. “I inherit a great group of young women who are excited to bring Lycoming back to the top of our conference. I have high expectations to build this program for long term success. My coaching philosophy centers on success in the classroom, while gaining the skills necessary to become leaders in the community.”
