Women's Soccer Struggles at Elizabethtown

Elizabethtown, Pa. – It was one of those nights for the Lycoming College women’s soccer team as the Warriors struggled throughout in losing to Elizabethtown College 8-0 on Saturday evening.  The loss drops Lycoming to 5-2 on the season.

The Warriors managed only four shots for the entire game compared to the Blue Jays’ 27 efforts at Lycoming’s net.  Warrior keeper Jessica Bennett (Crofton, Md./South River) was busy with 10 saves against the overwhelming amount of shots.

Seven different E-town players scored with Jenna Russo as the only Blue Jay to notch two goals.

Lycoming will look to erase this match from memory with its contest on Monday, September 26, at Cedar Hill College.  Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
