WARRIOR WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS SHORT AT DREW

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team traveled to Drew University, Saturday evening, for a Freedom Conference showdown. The Warriors gave up a goal in the first half and despite multiple scoring opportunities in the second half could not find the back of the net, falling to the Rangers, 1-0. Lycoming needed a victory to earn a berth in the conference playoffs. They end their season with an overall record of 12-4-1 and a conference mark of 3-3-1. The 12 wins are the most in the program’s 11-year history. Drew improves to 12-5-1 and 5-2.

Emily Perks scored the only goal of the game for the Rangers in the 31^st minute. Cait Mueller assisted on the play.

Jessica Bennett (Fr./Crofton, Md.; South River) was in net for the Warriors, making 4 saves.
