WARRIOR WOMEN’S SOCCER SUFFERS LOSS AT WILKES

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team traveled to Wilkes University, Wednesday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference match. The Warriors played even with the Colonels through a scoreless first half, but gave up four goals in the second half, falling to the home team by a score of 4-0. Lycoming is now 5-5 overall this season and 2-2 in the conference. Wilkes improves to 3-7-2 and 1-3.

Beth Weixel (Jr./Mill Hall, Pa.; Central Mountain) made nine saves in goal for the Warriors.

Lycoming will play again on Wednesday, October 15, when they host Lancaster Bible College at 3:30 p.m.
