WARRIOR WOMEN’S SOCCER SUFFERS LOSS IN SEASON OPENER

SELINSGROVE, PA – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team opened the 2003 season versus Ursinus College in a tournament hosted by Susquehanna University, Saturday afternoon. The Warriors struggled offensively, falling to the Bears 3-0.

Lycoming managed just six shots versus Ursinus and only one was on goal. Beth Weixel (Jr./Mill Hall, Pa.; Central Mountain) made 10 saves in her debut as goalkeeper for the Warriors.

Lycoming will play College of Notre Dame – Maryland, Sunday afternoon at noon.
