WARRIOR WOMEN’S SOCCER COMES UP SHORT AT FDU-FLORHAM

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team traveled to FDU-Florham, Saturday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference match. The Warriors limited the Devils to one goal but were unable to find the back of the net themselves, falling 0-1. Lycoming is now 6-6 overall and 2-3 within the conference this season. FDU improves to 9-5-1 and 5-1.

Ashleigh Hoey scored the only goal of the contest off an assist by Kathleen Rivera.

Beth Weixel (Jr./Mill Hall, Pa.; Central Mountain) made 15 saves in goal for the Warriors.

Lycoming’s next game is on Thursday, October 23, when they host Baptist Bible College at 3:30 p.m.
