WARRIOR WOMEN’S SOCCER SUFFERS LOSS TO ELMIRA

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team continued the 2003 season with a match versus Elmira College in non-conference action, Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors defense kept the match close early, but the Eagles eventually broke through winning 4-0. Lycoming falls to 1-3 while Elmira improves to 4-1-1.

Lycoming managed only four shots versus Elmira and only one was on goal.  Beth Weixel (Jr./Mill Hall, Pa.; Central Mountain) made six saves in goal for the Warriors.

Lycoming will play their next match at DeSales University, Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
