WOMEN’S SOCCER DROPS CONFERENCE MATCH AT SCRANTON
SCRANTON, PA –
The Lycoming College women’s soccer team traveled to the
University of Scranton, Wednesday afternoon, for a Freedom
Conference match. The Royals controlled the action from the
beginning defeating the Warriors 6-0.
Scranton scored
four times in the first half on goals by Jackie Frisina, Sara
Suchoski, Jennifer Fretts, and Alicia Sadano. Suchoski and Robyn
Mason added two more tallies in the second half.
Angie
Brewington (Sr./Benton, PA; Benton)
made 19 saves in goal for Lycoming. Amy Gerken made two saves for
the Royals.
The Warriors will
host Wilkes University on Sunday, November 3, for their final
match of the season.
