WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO MISERICORDIA
WILLIAMSPORT,
PA – The Lycoming College women’s soccer team hosted College
Misericordia in their home opener, Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors
played the Cougars tight for a half, but the heat and a short
bench eventually caught up with the home as they gave up five
second half goals to fall 6-0. Lycoming falls to 0-4 on the
season, while Misericordia improved to 4-0.
Cole
Vennie and Miki Bedics each scored a pair of goals for the
Cougars. Carolyn Muller added a goal and two assists.
Angie
Brewington (Sr./Benton, PA; Benton)
was in goal for the Warriors. She made 14 saves in the contest.
Lycoming
will be home again for their next match when they host Susquehanna
University on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
