MACPHAIL NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College senior Brenda MacPhail (Newtown; Marple Newtown) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference player of the week for women’s lacrosse.

MacPhail, Lycoming’s all-time leading scorer completed her collegiate career in style last week, posting 13 goals and three assists in three games. After being held in check on Thursday by Scranton, she exploded for seven goals and an assist versus FDU-Madison on Saturday. The next day against Elmira College, MacPhail scored six times and assisted on two other goals. She also picked up nine groundballs and caused three turnovers during the week. MacPhail ends her career with 170 goals and 64 assists.

As a team, the Warriors finished the season with a record of 11-5, setting a new program record for single-season wins.
