McIntyre Earns Rookie of the Week
Freshman Honored by womenslacrosse.com

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa—Freshman attack Megan McIntyre (Baltimore, MD) was named Rookie of the Week by womenslacrosse.com for her outstanding effort against nationally-ranked Messiah last week.

McIntyre scored four goals and caused four turnovers in Lycoming’s dismantling of the nation’s thirteenth-ranked team. Messiah was the pre-season favorite to repeat as Freedom Conference champions in 2007.

Lycoming is now 3-0 in conference play after defeating King’s on Tuesday and Widener Wednesday. McIntyre repeated her four-goal performance against the Lady Monarchs, adding an assist. Then notched six goals and an assist vs. The Pride.

The Lady Warriors return home this weekend to face FDU-Florham at 1:00 p.m. at Shangraw Athletic Complex. It will be their fourth conference match-up in ten days.
