LYCOMING WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFEATED AT DREW

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team traveled to Drew University, Saturday afternoon, for a Middle Atlantic Conference contest. The Warriors scored the first goal of the game, but could do little right after that, falling to the Rangers 17-2. Lycoming is now 3-4 overall this season and 1-3 within the MAC. Drew improves to 4-3 and 3-0.

Megan Wallenhorst (Fr./Rochester, N.Y.; Irondequoit) and Heather Suit (Fr./Annapolis, Md.; Broadneck) were the goal-scorers for the Warriors.

Kristina Peacock (Fr./Webster, N.Y.; Webster-Thomas) started in goal for Lycoming, making four saves and allowing eight goals in 15 minutes. Ashley Meyer (Fr./Pittsford, N.Y.; Pittsford Sutherland) was in net for the rest of the game. She made 13 saves and gave up nine goals.

The Warriors will play again on Wednesday, April 13, when they host Susquehanna University at 4 p.m.
