WARRIOR WOMEN’S LACROSSE FALLS TO MESSIAH

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team hosted Messiah College, Wednesday afternoon, for a Middle Atlantic Conference match-up. The Warriors fell behind early and despite a second-half comeback attempt, fell to the Falcons, 6-15. Lycoming drops to 3-7 overall and 1-6 within the MAC. Messiah improves to 9-3 and 5-1.

Megan Wallenhorst (Fr./Rochester, N.Y.; Irondequoit) led the Warriors with three goals in the game. Heather Suit (Fr./Annapolis, Md.; Broadneck) added two goals and one assist, while Erica Likens (Sr./Bel Air, Md.; Bel Air) added one goal.

Ashley Meyer (Fr./Pittsford, N.Y.; Pittsford Sutherland) went the distance in goal for the Warriors. She made 14 saves and allowed 15 goals.

Lycoming will play again on Saturday, April 23, when they host King’s College at 4 p.m.
