WARRIOR WOMEN’S LACROSSE OPENS SEASON WITH VICTORY

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team opened their season, Saturday afternoon, at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in North Carolina. The Warriors were impressive in their first outing, winning 14-7.

Lauren Evangelist (Sr./Perkiomenville, Pa.; Boyertown) led Lycoming’s attack with six goals. Erica Likens (Jr./Bel Air, Md.; Bel Air) added three goals and one assist, while Kristen Dart (Jr./Saratoga, N.Y.; Saratoga Springs) also scored three goals. Cassie Mocyk (Fr./Baldwinsville, N.Y.; Charles W. Baker) and Laura Seifert (So./Jarrettsville, Md.; Notre Dame Prep) each chipped in one goal.

The Warriors will play again on Tuesday, March 16, at home versus Montclair State. Start time is 4 p.m.
