SUSQUEHANNA
Evangelist Scores 100th
Career Goal
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team
traveled to Susquehanna University, Tuesday afternoon, for a
Middle Atlantic Conference game. The Warriors fell behind early
and could not complete a comeback falling 15-6 to the Crusaders.
Lycoming drops to 2-2 overall and 0-2 within the MAC.
Susquehanna improves to 4-3 and 4-1.
The Warriors
were led by senior Lauren Evangelist (Perkiomenville, Pa.;
Boyertown) who scored five goals in the contest, including
the 100th of her career 21 minutes into the first
half. Evangelist finished the game with 103 career scores.
Junior Kristen Dart (Saratoga, N.Y.; Saratoga Springs)
added Lycoming’s other goal on a free-position shot in the first
half.
Senior
Lauren Rooney (Audubon, N.J.; Audubon) made 14 saves in goal
for the Warriors.
Lycoming
plays again on Thursday, April 1, when they travel to Gwynedd
Mercy College.
